A new study has found that Butler County has the most incoming investments compared to any other county in Pennsylvania.
Smart Asset measured business growth, GDP Growth, and new building permits and determined that Butler has the most incoming investments in the state. Smart Asset is a financial advisor website.
Butler ranked ninth in business growth, which looked at the number of businesses opened in the last 3 years.
Outside of the top 10 in GDP growth in the local economy. But came in first for new building permits per 1,000 homes and permits index with 10.93 and 11.85.
The next closes county in the ranking in Western Pennsylvania was Allegheny county at 13th.
