Terry L. Shorts

Terry L. Shorts, 75, of Butler, PA passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, April 27, 2024. He was born in Titusville, PA on March 27, 1949 to the late Rexford and Josephine “Marie” (Gray) Shorts. He graduated from Mars High School in 1967 and then enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He honorably served as a Black Beret in Vietnam. He received the Bronze Star and the Medal of Valor for his bravery. He was a member of the 449 local Steamfitter/Pipefitter union of Butler, working as a welder. Terry was the beloved husband of Sharlene (Mundis) Shorts since their marriage in 1989; father of Mark Godfrey and Tiffany Talbot; brother of Kay Gardephe and Diane Genesse; grandfather to 6; great grandfather to 3.
