An Ellwood City woman who was charged in connection with the murder of an Ohio man has pled guilty.
39-year-old Nicole Schwartz pled guilty to conspiracy – murder of the third. She was a witness in the prosecution of 21-year-old Daniel Lloyd, who was found guilty last week for shooting and killing Frederick Orr in Muddy Creek Township in June 2022.
Schwartz told investigators that she picked Orr up from prison the day of the murder. During that time, Lloyd hid in the back of the car, before shooting him on a back road in Muddy Creek Township.
Schwartz has been sentenced to nine to 20 years in prison with five years of probation after her release.
