For those looking for a summer hobby or learn more about beekeeping or maple syrup production Penn State Extension is offering a webinar on the subject.
The webinar will take place tomorrow night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the cost for the link being $5. The class is for beginners and homesteaders and will focus on how to become more self-sufficient in maple syrup production or extracting honey.
Resources will be provided on how to start either beekeeping or maple syrup production along with vegetable gardening, tree and small fruit production, home food preservation, backyard greenhouses, and other homesteading topics.
If you are unable to attend the webinar a link will be sent out within 10 days of the entire video but you must sign up by 8 p.m. June 13 to receive the link.
