After a 10-3 loss against the Rays Friday, the Pirates rallied and beat them 4-3 yesterday. After hitting two batters with pitches in the first inning, Pirates pitcher Jared Jones settled down. He struck out eight batters and allowed just two runs in seven innings. Oneil Cruz became the fifth player to hit a homerun into the Allegheny River on a fly. Andrew McCutchen also hit his first triple in more than three years for the Pirates.
The Pirates face the Rays again this afternoon for the third and final game of the series at 1:35. WISR Pre-game begins at 12:35. Paul Skenes will start for the Pirates.

The Pittsburgh Riverhounds tied with North Carolina yesterday 0-0. The Riverhounds head to Las Vegas for their next game this coming Saturday.
The Nascar Cup Series will race at New Hampshire Speedway this afternoon. Race coverage begins at 1:30pm on WBUT. Martin Truex, Jr., who recently announced his plan to retire at the end of this season, is the defending race champion.
Edmonton defeated Florida Friday night 5-1, forcing Game 7 of the Stanley Cup between the two teams. It will be played tomorrow night in Florida; face-off is scheduled for 8pm. Edmonton is only the third team in NHL history to come back from a 3-0 game deficit and force a Game 7. In NHL history, the 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs remain the only team to come back from a 3-0 deficit and win game 7. It has been 31 years since a Canadian team has won the Stanley Cup – Montreal last won it in 1993.
