Independence Health System is holding a local blood drive this week.
The event will happen at the Oneida Valley Road facility Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The drive is in partnership with Community Blood Bank. Those who are interested in donating can register online or by calling 1-877-842-0631.
Hospital officials say walk-ins are welcome, but they do encourage making an appointment. A photo ID is required.
Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh over 110 pounds, have no tattoos or piercings in the last three months, and be in good health.
