Local residents are being asked to join in an effort to save lives.
The first of several local Vitalant blood drives is planned for tomorrow (Thursday) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Harrisville United Methodist Church Social Hall.
Other Vitalant drives will take place Wednesday the 10th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at South College on Westinghouse Drive in Cranberry Township.
Vitalant is offering all donors who give blood and opt into their Donor Rewards Program at a drive can get a t-shirt or a chance to win a vehicle worth up to $30,000.
