Hailie Deegan released from X-finity Series ride during rookie season

Nascar X-finity Series driver Hailie Deegan has been let go from her ride with AM Racing. The team chose to use Joey Logano at the street race in Chicago over the weekend, then made the announcement Monday. Deegan was 28th in the X-finity Series points midway through her rookie season. The 23-year old emerged from a successful ARCA Series run to race three years in the Truck Series before moving up to the X-finity Series this season.
