Final touches and spending are being completed at the Adams Township Community Park in preparation of its opening.
Earlier this week at the Board of Supervisors meeting Adam’s Township approved two-change orders for the park as they prepare for an early completion in mid-August.
The first change was made for $7,000 for the removal of some dirt and soil at the park. The second was for electrical work for $160,000 that township officials knew was going to add as the project was near completion. The electrical spending includes will see lights added all across the park.
Funding for the changes come from the Parks and Recreation budget no additional funds were needed to complete the project.
When completed the park will have around 100 parking spots, four pickleball courts, and one basketball court.
