The cybersecurity firm Crowdstrike says the issue is not a security-related or a hack.
Locally, the outage has caused long lines at the Pittsburgh airport. There are some companies and organizations dealing with technology issues.
However, the Butler County 911 Center says all of their operations are online and they are having no issues.
