It is with a broken heart that we have to announce the passing of Tammy “Rudy” Ruediger, 66, of Fenelton, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 22, 2024, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born on June 4, 1958, in Butler, Pennsylvania, to the late James Reed and Beatrice (Oesterling) Reed.
Tammy graduated from Butler High School. She worked as a caregiver at New Haven Court, where she cared for residents for more than 20 years. Tammy enjoyed card games, puzzles, and taking care of residents at New Haven. She liked going to the casino but most of all Tammy loved spending time with her family and her dogs. In July of 2023, Tammy became a grandmother for the first time, she naturally was the best “Mimi” to Caden, whom she adored so much.
Tammy is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Ruediger; two sons, Chad (Jenna) Ruediger, and Ryan (Cameron Devinney) Ruediger; one stepdaughter, Teresa (Stan) Sims; one grandson, Caden Ruediger; mother-in-law, Rose Ruediger; two brothers, Gary (Monica) Reed, and James (Tracy) Reed; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Diana Khatibi.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 East North Street, Butler, PA 16001.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 27, 2024, with Rev. Bob Edmundson, officiating.
A private burial will take place at Butler County Memorial Park.
