A local organization joined with car enthusiasts for an event last weekend to benefit first responders.
The 4th annual Lowrie Place and Rodfathers car cruise was able to collect $2,000 to benefit Butler Township Volunteer Fire Department.
The residents of Lowrie Place presented the money to Butler Township VFD Fire Chief Scott Frederick and President Steve Martin last week. The money raised at this event will go towards the purchase of helmets or boots for use by the local firefighters.
The next Lowrie Place event will be National Dog Days on August 26th.
