The Pittsburgh Pirates open a big weekend series with the Arizona Diamondbacks tonight at PNC Park. First pitch is 6:40pm. Pre-game on WISR begins at 6:15pm. Luis Ortiz will start for the Bucs, who begin the weekend 2-1/2 games behind Arizona for the final National League Wild Card playoff spot. The San Diego Padres come to Pittsburgh Tuesday. The Pirates are three games behind them in the chase for a playoff spot.
The Bucs and Diamondbacks play again Saturday night at 6:40pm and Sunday at 1:35pm.
