The team from Pennsylvania remained alive at the Little League World Series in Williamsport following a 12-2 victory Sunday over Washington. The game was delayed after it began because of storms with the Newtown, Pa team leading 6-0 at the time. The delay forced two additional games to be played today. The Pennsylvania team will await the loser of the game between Hawaii and Nevada.
The Slippery Rock University football team once played an NCAA playoff game against Winston-Salem State.
