Born February 18, 1931, in East Brady, he was the son of the late Robert Jardine and the late Sarah Jardine.
Bill owned and operated Jardine’s Farm Restaurant in Sarver, PA for over 30 years. After the restaurant closed, he worked in food service sales. Bill was also a professor of food service at Butler County Community College and was a published author of an Institutional Catering book.
He is survived by his three children, John R. Jardine, James C. Jardine and Laura J. Jardine.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Joanne H. (Rassau) Jardine in 1982 and his second wife, Joyce I. (Smilak) Jardine in 2022.
Per Bill’s wishes, all services will be held privately.
He will be laid to rest in St. John’s Reformed Cemetery in Butler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oak Hills Christian Church, 100 Township Line Rd., Butler, PA 16002.
