The Seneca Valley secondary campus will have an increased police presence today.
District officials say over the weekend, they were made aware of “vague threats” connected to the secondary schools. Most of the threats emerged via the social media app Snapchat.
Seneca Valley says some of the threats were connected to the same threats from last week that were deemed non-credible. However, other reports “were more general in nature” but appeared in a Snapchat with a group of Seneca Valley students.
Along with the increased police presence, Seneca Valley officials are asking anyone who is aware or sees any threats to immediately report them to the district or directly to police.
