Delores Jean “Dee” Cervenyak, age 82, of Cabot, PA, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024.
Born on April 22, 1942, in Homestead, PA, to the late John Henry Fingal and the late Ella Blank Fingal.
Dee worked as a custodian for over 50 years, spending most of her tenure at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, where she was also a member. She enjoyed gardening, animals, cooking, fixing things, and spending time outdoors.
Dee is survived by her three daughters, Michele Critchlow of Cabot, PA, Denise Cervenyak of Cranberry Twp., PA, and Sherry Ivanko of Butler, PA; a daughter-in-law, Laurie Kolish; 12 grandchildren, Greg Kolish, Chelsea Alga, Jeff Kolish, Natalie Linden, Robert Kolish, Taura Ivanko, Courtney Kohl, Ashley Ivanko, Sarah Ivanko, Braeden Marburger, Nicole Critchlow, and Hailee Ivanko; one great-grandchild, Parker Kohl and three more on the way.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two sons, William Kolish and Mark Kolish; and one brother, John “Jack” Fingal.
Family and friends will be received on October 7, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA 16001. A Blessing Service will be held immediately after visitation, at 4:00 p.m., at the funeral home, with Fr. Jim Kurtz of St. Joseph Catholic Church – St. Francis of Assisi Parish, officiating.
