Karen M. Eckenrode

Karen M. Eckenrode, 68, of Butler, passed away, Monday evening, October 21, 2024, at Allegheny General Hospital.
She was born April 29, 1956 in Butler, a daughter of the late Donald L. Cousins and Gladys A. (Christy) Cousins.
Karen was retired from OPM-ROC in Boyers, after working for more than 30 years. She was a member of Butler New Beginnings Free Methodist Church, enjoyed walking and reading, most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin T. Eckenrode, whom she married September 9, 1988.
Her daughter, Kayla (Josh) Wise.
2 grandchildren, Levi Wise and Cora Wise.
1 brother, Mike Cousins.
2 sisters, Bonnie Eckenrode and LeaAnn Myers.
A number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Cousins.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, on Friday from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Services will follow at 6:00 pm with Pastor Matthew Perkins. Interment will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
