Butler County is offering a new drive-thru drop off for ballots.
The drive-thru will be located in the election office’s parking lot on West Cunningham Street.
The drop-off location will be fully staffed by members of the election office.
County officials also remind voters that they must complete all of the necessary steps before submitting their ballot:
- Complete ballot
- Place ballot in the secrecy envelope and seal it (DO NOT SIGN OR MARK THE SECRECY ENVELOPE)
- Place the secrecy envelope in the purple declaration envelope
- Seal the purple declaration envelope
- Sign your name on the purple declaration envelope
- Write the date on the purple declaration envelope
County officials also remind voters that you have to turn in your own ballot. However, if a voter has completed authorization forms to return a ballot on behalf of someone who is physically unable to do so, they must go into the Election Bureau office and return the ballot at the counter.
The drive-thru is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each weekday from now until Election Day.
