The Pittsburgh Steelers host the New York Giants tonight for the NFL Monday Night Football game. Kick-off is 8:15pm. Pre-game begins at 6:15pm on WISR.
The 5-2 Steelers are 5-1/2 point favorites in the game. The Giants enter the game 2-5.
Russell Wilson will be the starting quarterback, but back-up Justin Fields popped up on the injury report ahead of the game. Fields is apparently dealing with a hamstring issue and is listed as “questionable”.
After tonight’s game, the Steelers are off until Sunday, November 10th when they visit the Washington Commanders. After that game, the Steelers play AFC North opponents in six of their final eight games. The non-division opponents in that stretch will be the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.
In the AFC North Sunday – The Cleveland Browns defeated the Baltimore Ravens 29-24. The Browns improved to 2-6, while Baltimore fell to 5-3. A victory tonight by the Steelers will give them a one-game lead over the Ravens. Philadelphia defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 37-17. The Bengals fell to 3-5.
The Kansas City Chiefs improved to 7-0 following a 27-20 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
In the Sunday Night Football Game, the San Francisco 49ers scored 21 unanswered points in the third quarter and held on to defeat the Dallas Cowboys 30-24.
The Washington Commanders defeated the Chicago Bears 18-15 when rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels threw a 52-yard “Hail Mary” touchdown pass as time expired.
