A Butler man has been placed in the Butler County Prison after he fired a gun at a Butler City home.
Police were called to the 400 block of North Sixth Street on Saturday for a report of a gun shot and domestic dispute. After officers investigated, they determined that 29-year-old Dustin Lindsay had fired a gun during a domestic dispute.
An argument between Lindsay and his partner was caught on camera but before the video the original callers claim they heard a gunshot. When police arrived, they discovered a shell casing in the garage of the home.
Police then went to Lindsay’s home and took him into custody. He’s charged with discharging his firearm into an occupied structure, recklessly endangering another person, and simple assault.
He has been placed in the Butler County Prison on a $25,000 bail and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Dec. 2nd.
