Hunters who have secured an elk license will soon have the chance to take advantage of the opportunity.
General elk season opens today and continues through Saturday, November 9th.
According to the Pennsylvania Game Commission, 68 elk hunting licenses have been allotted for this season, split up between 30 for antlered bulls and 38 for antlerless cows.
