Timothy Louis Manuel, 68, of Butler, passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully, Thursday, November 14, 2024, at his residence.
Born August 3, 1956, in Butler, he was a son of the late Eugene Manuel and Helen Groszkiewicz Manuel.
Tim attended Butler High School, where he played football, and later attended Massanutten Military Academy.
He enjoyed his work at Sony Entertainment in Boyers for 30 years.
He was a thoughtful uncle, attending many activities in support of his nieces and nephews. Tim had an unassuming quiet demeanor. He was tolerant of other’s opinions and viewpoints. Down to earth, Tim was loyal to his family and friends. He had, to this day, continued friendships with his many High School buddies. He loved and cared deeply for his dogs. Tim was an avid duckpin bowler.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria “Tori” Larkey Manuel, whom he married December 4, 1998; three siblings, Terry Manuel and his wife, Margie, of Ambridge, Pa., Cindy Reddick and her husband, John, of Butler, and Gary Manuel and his wife, Jen, of Rapid City, S.D.; his father-in-law, Gary Larkey and his wife, Jane, of Indiana; his mother-in-law, Judy Larkey, of Indiana; one brother-in-law, Craig Larkey, of Indiana; three sisters-in-law, Bridget Larkey, Sara Mitchell and her husband, Mike, and Nicole Larkey Spreen and her husband, Clint, all of Indiana; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-niece, great-nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, numerous aunts, uncles and close cousins.
Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Avenue, Butler, on Wednesday from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Services will immediately follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Jim Lewis officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to Graceway Community Church, in care of 211 Evans City Rd., Butler, PA 16001.
