A Butler tradition of giving back on Thanksgiving Day will continue this year.
The free community Thanksgiving dinner will happen once again Thursday.
This year, it will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church on North Street.
Volunteers from a number of churches in Butler will help provide over 1,000 meals for the day. The dinner includes all the Thanksgiving classics: turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans and rolls.
