Virginia “Ginny” McCracken, 78, of Butler passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024. She was born in Butler on June 7, 1946, to the late Anthony and Elizabeth (Weidenhof) Savannah. Virginia was 1966 graduate of Butler Senior High School. She was married to her loving husband, the late Larry McCracken, who passed away on December 24, 2011.
Virginia in her earlier years, worked in the restaurant industry as a waitress. She more recently was employed under the Senior Aid Program. She was a people person who liked to remain active. Viriginia enjoyed cooking, listening to music, watching the soap opera “The Bold and Beautiful”, taking walks, and decorating her home for the different seasons and holidays.
She is survived by her companion, Michael Brown’ brother, Ronald (late, Norma) Savannah; George (Betty) Savannah; sisters, Ceclia (late, Anthony Jr.) Grenek, Marsha (late, Ken) Bauer and her companion Gary Bosley; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, Virginia was preceded in death by her sisters, Rose Marie (late, Michael) Spohn and Carolyn (late, Joseph) Zupan.
