Slippery Rock University quarterback Brayden Long began a whirlwind week Monday when the senior signal caller traveled to Las Vegas for the William V. Campbell Trophy presentation before heading to Michigan this weekend to lead The Rock into the national semifinals.
The May 2024 graduate from Hanover, Pennsylvania, left Slippery Rock Monday morning and flew to Las Vegas to attend the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Awards Dinner tonight. He will be the only Division II player on the stage as one of 16 national finalists for the 2024 Campbell Trophy, which is the top scholar-athlete prize in college football.
The Rock will visit Ferris State Saturday at 3:30pm in the national semifinals. Hear the game on The Rock Station 97.7fm beginning at 3pm.
