Paul Schmidt

Paul Schmidt, 58, of Butler passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024. He was born in Springfield, MA on April 12, 1966, to Paul and Donna Jean (Young) Schmidt. Paul graduated from Moniteau High School in 1984, and then honorably served in the U.S. Air Force from 1984 to 1988. After being discharged, Paul was employed as a Diesel Mechanic. Paul was affectionately referred to as the “teasing uncle” by his great nieces and nephews. He also was known for always being willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Paul was a member of the American Legion Post 117 in Butler. Brother of Mary (Denny) Blom, Sue (Tom) Midberry and Patty Schmidt End; he is also survived by numerous nephews.
