The Slippery Rock University football team fell 48-38 to Ferris State in the national semifinals of the Division II playoffs Saturday night in Michigan. The Rock led at halftime 38-27 and moved inside the Ferris State 12-yard line twice on their opening drives of the second half, but both drives ended with interceptions in the end zone.
Ferris State will face Valdosta State for the national championship Saturday afternoon in Texas.
