Dolores “Lorie” Stewart, 68, of Butler passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024. She was born in Butler on February 24, 1956, to the late Nicholas and Anna (Mudrick) Druga. Lorie graduated from Butler Area High School in 1973 and worked at Stanley’s Bakery for many years. She was known for being a wonderful homemaker, mother, and grandmother, and was described as generous, loving, and kind to her many friends and neighbors. Lorie was proud of her garden and loved to feed the birds and other wildlife in her backyard. She also enjoyed baking and playing bingo. Lorie was a member of the Ladies Guild of St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Church and Highfield Community Center. Lorie was the beloved wife of Rodger Stewart since their marriage in 1973; mother of Amy (Ashley) Stewart and Matthew (Erin) Stewart; sister of Dorothy (John) DeFoggi and Donna Druga; grandmother of Julie Rosenbaum, Kendall, Lucas, Bradley, Henry, and Iris Stewart. Along with her parents, Lorie was preceded in death by her sister, Diane (Tom) Robison. All services were held privately through SPENCER D.
