Morgan Alexandra Cope, age 31, of Slippery Rock, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
She is survived by her loving parents, Elizabeth “Lisa” and Howard Cope, her sister Audrey Tracy (Steven), and her cherished niece, Margot Tracy. She is also survived by her devoted boyfriend, Sean Guesman, her dear friend Dylan Gardner, and her very close Uncle Alex. In addition, she had many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins both in the United States and Denmark. Morgan had a deep love for animals and is survived by her two treasured cats, Roux and Ramsey, along with many dear friends who will miss her greatly.
She attended Mars High School and later graduated from Lincoln Park Performing Arts High School, where she cultivated her passion for the arts. An accomplished artist and musician, Morgan not only played music but also crafted her own guitar through her love of woodworking. She found joy in photography, attending concerts, visiting the drive-in movie theater, and savoring perfectly crispy bacon. Beyond her artistic and creative pursuits, she had a profound love for the outdoors, especially hiking, kayaking, and exploring nature.
Morgan had a beautiful smile that was contagious, lighting up every room she entered. Her warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was employed at Keystone Safari, where she was deeply passionate about working with animals. Her love and dedication to the well-being of animals and those around her will always be remembered.
She was deeply loved and will be truly missed.
A visitation will be held on Thursday January 16, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00P.M. at Thompson- Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 E. North Street, Butler, PA, 16001.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at Bakerstown United Methodist Church, 5760 William Flynn Highway, Gibsonia, PA, 15044, with Pastor Keith Dunn officiating. Everyone is kindly asked to meet at the church.
Entombment will be held at Butler County Memorial Park.
