After last year’s Butler City fireworks display took place on July 5th, Council is preparing for the next two celebrations.
Council approved a two-year contact with Peak Pyro Productions in the amount of $20,000 this year and $25,000 next year contingent upon review of the solicitor.
The City’s previous fireworks provider Zambelli was not available. Costs could be mitigated or defrayed through sponsorships. One business has already notified the city of their intentions to contribute more to the 2026 display which will mark the 250th birthday of the nation.
Residents, businesses, or organizations interested in sponsoring or donating to the city’s fireworks display are asked to contact the city for more information.
