Robin L. (Shields) Matthews

Robin L. (Shields) Matthews, 70, of Butler, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025. Born in Butler on August 7, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Jean (French) Shields. Robin was a graduate of Slippery Rock Area High School. She worked at a variety of jobs while raising 4 children. She was also an avid reader. Robin is survived by one daughter, Holly (Aaron) Depew, and three sons, Christopher Plaisted, Joel (Heather) Plaisted, and Toby Plaisted. She is also survived by one brother, Gary (Cheryl) Shields, 1 granddaughter and 7 grandsons. Along with her parents, Robin was preceded in death by her sister, Dawn (Gordon) Cratty.
