Robert George Hile, Jr., of Six Points, received his crown in Glory on February 12, 2025. Known to most as Bobby, his beautiful church family as Pastor B., and most affectionately to his grandbabies as PopPop, he was loved deeply by so many. Born August 22, 1961, Bobby lived his 63 years of life just as the Lord asked of us. He loved the Lord with all his heart, and he loved others more than himself. He lived to serve others not only in his ministries, but also in his career choice as a paramedic.
Bobby was currently a Bishop in the Church of God of Prophecy and Pastoring at Family Life Ministries in Butler, alongside his wonderful wife, Bonnie. If ever there were someone born to be a Pastor, Bobby was it. He knew how to love people without judgement and serve them just like Jesus did. He was also blessed to have a way with words that helped him not only explain God’s Word, but also made him an excellent advice giver and story teller. His family lovingly teased him that it was easy to tell when he was having a rough day because he was quiet. He would respond with a smirk, head shake, and a “well, yea, you’re probably right.” This amazing man touched countless lives in his time here on Earth, and he found immense joy doing it.
Surviving and missing him here is his constant supporter, partner in ministry, and wife of over 44 years, Bonnie; his four children, whom he never failed to love and support, Totiana (Jeff) Large, BJ (Rachel) Hile, Adam (Shaina) Hile, and Aberia (Tyler) Hempfling; his pride and joy, his ten grandbabies, Aubriel, Josiah, Kennedy, Landon, Rory, Annalyse, Gabrielle, Sloane, Winnifred, and Locklyn; his two beautiful sisters, Tammy (Charlie) Croyle and Cindy (Dan) Ekis; his loving mother-in-law, Shirley Blauser; two sisters-in-law, Kim (Kelly) Armstrong and Tracey (Mike) Johnston, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Greeting him in Glory are his parents, Bob and Kay Hile, and his father-in-law, Ken Blauser.
Friends are invited to a Memorial Service honoring Bobby on Saturday, February 15 at 4 p.m. at the Six Points Church of God of Prophecy, 126 McKee Rd., Parker.
