James “Fran” F. Tassey

James “Fran” F. Tassey, 78, of Butler passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025. He was born in Oil City, PA on November 12, 1946, to the late James C. and Mary E. (Gallagher) Tassey. Fran was employed at Lloyd Johnson Office Products and Shamrock Office Products; he gathered 42 years of experience between the two. He was a member of St. Peters Church. Brother of Edward “Ed” Tassey; uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Fran was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia “Pat” Lorenz, his brother, John Tassey and his best friend of 52 years, Punky Edwards.
