Butler City Police are asking for help with identifying the driver involved in a hit and run crash last weekend that also resulted in more charges.
The accident happened in the 1000 block of East Jefferson Street last Sunday evening around 4 p.m.
After a 2006 BMW struck a utility pole near the hospital and rolled over, the driver fled the scene. Any witnesses or anyone with information about this vehicle is asked to contact the Butler City Police.
While emergency responders were on the scene, another driver went through downed wires and nearly hit an officer directing traffic. Officers determined that 67-year-old James Young of Renfrew was under the influence of alcohol and he will face numerous charges including DUI.
