Slippery Rock University students are preparing to stage a musical this weekend and the public is invited to attend.
The SRU Theatre Department is performing “Junie B. Jones” starting Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the Stoner East Black Box Theater inside the Performing Arts Center. Additional shows will take place Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. as well as Monday and Tuesday evenings.
15 student cast members will present a musical tale based on the eventful first day of first grade for the title character.
Admission is $12 for those with SRU students IDs and $15 for the general public with tickets available on the SRU website or at the door.
