Born October 6, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward Reinhart and Dorothy (Koselnack) Reinhart.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and adored her two dogs Buddy and Bebe.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1993, Sue’s dedication to her work led her to further her education at Slippery Rock University, where she obtained her master’s degree in counseling psychology. She’s devoted her career to counseling and caring deeply for her patients.
She was passionate about her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, playing the piano, creating beautiful paintings, spending time with her family and her dogs, and her work as a therapist.
Sue is survived by her sons Doug Kappler (Christine), Joe Kappler (Angela), Andrew Kappler (Traci) and Jonathan Campbell (Ashley); daughter Melody Kiefer; sisters Linda DeFazio (Art) and Cynthia Plazek; 20 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
A memorial service for Susan will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church, 221 West New Castle Street, Butler, PA 16001 with Pastor Dave Maitland, officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 E. North St., Butler, PA 16001.
