The Pittsburgh Steelers have acquired Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf. The Steelers sent their second-round selection in the upcoming April draft to the Seahawks and the team’s will flip their sixth and seventh round picks, with the Steeles acquiring Seattle’s sixth-round selection. Metcalf had requested a trade as he entered the final year of his contract with Seattle.
Seattle also traded quarterback Geno Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders over the weekend. Through the two trades, the Seahawks will have five picks in the first three rounds of the 2025 NFL draft.
Free agency officially begins in the NFL Wednesday, but teams can actually begin to negotiate with players not currently on their team as of noon today.
