A Sarver man has been placed in the Butler County Prison after he allegedly committed a burglary at a Jefferson Township home.
On Sunday, shortly after 6:30 p.m. police were called to a home on the 200 block of Knock Road in Saxonburg for a potential active robbery.
As State Police approached the home, a manr identified as 45-year-old Jason Armour was walking around with bags. When Armour was noticed by police, he fled into the wooded area.
He was eventually taken in by police with force and inside the bags Armour was walking with were several guns with cases.
Armour was charged with several felony’s such as burglary, possession of a firearm prohibited, receiving stolen property, and criminal trespassing.
He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $75,000 bail and has a preliminary hearing set for March 25.
