A man who pled guilty to murder in Lawrence County has now pled to charges in Butler.
Last month, 39-year-old Shane McDevitt pled guilty to third degree murder for killing his mother, 65-year old Cecilia Liposky, in May 2022 at their Neshannock Township home. He will serve 50 years for that crime.
Today, McDevitt pled guilty to the traffic violations he committed while attempting to elude police after the murder.
He pled guilty to fleeing and attempting to elude an officer and a DUI.
He faces over 50 years in prison for the murder of his mother.
