Butler County Sports Hall of Fame inducting seven Saturday at BC3

The Butler County Sports Hall of Fame will hold its 58th induction banquet Saturday night at the Butler County Community College Founder’s Hall. The event begins at 6pm and will enshrine seven athletes. The honorees include: swimmer Larry Dillon, Butler high wrestling coach Scott Stoner, basketball coach Joe Lewandowski – who coached the USA men’s 3 on 3 Olympic team, runners Joella Baker and Melissa Sopher Williams, Freeport volleyball coach Tom Phillips and standout athlete as well as long-time referee Art Monteleone, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement award.
