The Butler County Coroner says his office investigated 193 cases this past year.
William Young issued his 2024 report and provided some details surrounding deaths in the county.
Drug-related deaths were the lead cause of unnatural deaths in the county, with 43.
Young says there were four homicide deaths in the county last year, all from gunshots. There were also 27 suicides investigated by the coroner.
