Helen L. Turner, 98, of Butler, PA, left this earthly life and went to her heavenly home on April 24, 2025.
She was born October 29, 1926, to the late Roy McKissick and Martha (Reynolds) McKissick.
Helen worked for People’s United Telephone Company and the Jefferson Street Apartments.
Helen was a member of the First English Lutheran Church.
She was an avid dog lover and enjoyed their companionship over the years. Helen loved her recent fur baby, Layla. They had a special bond and Layla will miss her Nana.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband , Samuel J. Turner, who passed away on January 23, 2006. And four brothers, William, Roy, Richard, and her infant twin brother, Robert McKissick.
Helen is survived by one son, Sammy J. Turner, and his wife, Lorrie. After Helen’s husband, Sam’s passing, she lived out her remaining years and made her home with her son & daughter-in-law. Helen also has two grandsons, Travis Turner, and his wife, Jeannie, and Cody Turner, and his wife, Meagan. Five great-grandchildren, Logan, Nadia, Mason, Zachary, and Dallas Turner and a number nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank Dr. Chatta and her staff for all the care given to Helen.
Helens wishes were to have no visitation or services.
Burial will be at the Greenlawn Burial Estates.
