At least one person was seriously injured as a result of a single vehicle crash Monday afternoon on Interstate 79.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly before 1 p.m. for the crash near mile marker 103 southbound.
Crews from Slippery Rock and Portersville were among those responding to the scene to find a red van over a hill and in the woods with rollover and entrapment.
A STAT Med-Evac helicopter was called to land near the Slippery Rock exit off 79 for medical transport to UPMC Presbyterian and treatment of unknown injuries.
