There’s been another slight drop in local gas prices this week.
According to AAA’s weekly gas price report, drivers are paying $3.48 for a gallon of regular, unleaded self-serve in Butler. That’s down two cents from last week.
The national average is at $3.17, which is up four cents from last week.
AAA says the combination of higher crude oil prices and demand are leading to the nationwide increase.
The travel agency adds that prices are nearly 40 cents cheaper this year than last year for the Memorial Day Weekend.
