It’s an Air Quality Alert day for Butler County.
With temperatures expected to rise into the mid-80s, combined with smoke from Canadian wildfires, the National Weather Service has issued a “Code Orange” alert for the day.
That means anyone in sensitive groups like children, the elderly, or those who suffer from respiratory issues should limit time outside.
Others are encouraged to limit strenuous outdoor activities.
