A Butler man is facing charges in Franklin Township after it’s alleged he hit another man in the head with a hammer.
On May 15 just after 2:30 a.m., police were called to an apartment in the 900 block of New Castle Road for alleged domestic incident.
When police arrived on scene a woman claimed her ex-boyfriend hit a man she was with in the head with a hammer. Police found the victim who had cuts and was bleeding from the mouth.
The victim said 35-year-old Travis Zaborowski showed up to the apartment with a hammer and attacked him.
Zaborowski has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime, and harassment.
He’s awaiting a preliminary hearing.
