The annual Butler County History Day is set for this Saturday and organizers are planning a photo contest for the event.
11 different museums and historical sites in the county are offering free admission on Saturday, and while you’re there you can enter the photo contest.
Using a QR code, which will be available at all the sites, you can submit your favorite photo from the day with a chance to win a $50 Butler County gift card.
Some of the activities for the day include:
- A Night of the Living Dead-themed zombie meet and greet at Evans City Historical Society
- Tasty treats from a stone-bake oven at Harmony Museum
- Tour of the newly renovated Butler County Historical Society Little Red Schoolhouse
- Historical reenactors in Roebling Park
- Kids’ activities in the beautiful Passavant House Garden
