Gloria M. Walker-Morgan, 93, of Pittsburgh passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025. She was born in Charleston, WV on August 15, 1931, to the late Donald and Margaret (Lane) Hicks. Gloria graduated from Schenley High School. As a child, she aspired to be a singer and dress designer; Gloria loved fashion and clothing. She worked for TWA Airlines as a reservationist. Gloria started out at Lerner’s Dept Store then worked for Prices Dress Shop, an upscale dress shop in Pittsburgh. She loved making sure women were dressed and looking their best; dressing women properly was something she loved! Once she retired, Gloria enjoyed visiting her favorite place, Rivers Casino. She would say, it’s better than sitting around gossiping. She is survived by her only son, Keith Morgan; sister, Delores Lamar; nieces, Lisa (Rod) Lamar-Hamilton and Sheila Dumas; nephew, Bernard Hall; aunt, Janet L. Wagner and uncle Richard Lane; great nieces and nephews, Meagan (Ken) Riley, Trent Hall, Phil (Brandi) Hall, along with a host of cousins and great friends. Along with her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, John Morgan; sister, Joan Hall; daughter-in-law, Gerry Morgan; and her beloved aunt/mother, Mary Francis Carter.
