Anna Lois (Deer) Sheridan, age 95, of Slippery Rock, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Orchard Manor in Grove City.
Born November 19, 1929 in Pittsburgh, PA; she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth Nelander Deer.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her children. She will be remembered for baking Christmas cookies and crocheting dish cloths.
Anna is survived by her children Phyllis (William) Patterson of Slippery Rock, Thomas (Linda) Sheridan of Gainesville, FL, Denise Sheridan of Slippery Rock, Cindy Sheridan of Beaver Falls; her grandchildren Jennifer (Michael) Joy, Gregory Patterson, Megan (Sean) Davitt, John Sheridan; her great grandchildren Henry Patterson, Jack Davitt, and Claire Davitt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Ida Forsythe, Russell Deer, and Betty Gaydos.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 11am to 1pm, with the Funeral Service to follow at 1pm with Rev Ben Oesterling, pastor of the Mt Zion Baptist Church, Prospect, officiating.
Interment in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Butler.
